24-Hour Access

Are there staff members present 24-hours per day?

The American Fitness staff is not present throughout the night. Please click

How may I gain access to the club after hours?

All members over the age of 18 years will receive a 24-hour access card.
American Fitness provides a separate, side entrance for our after-hours
users. Members may simply swipe their 24-hour access cards at this side
entrance to unlock the door and gain access to the club. The 24-hour access
service is available seven days per week, 365 days per year.

Who is the 24-hour access for?

The 24-hour access is provided for all members over the age of eighteen
years. Members under the age of eighteen years are not permitted in the club
after hours for any reason. Guests are also restricted to staffed hours only.
These rules have been established with the safety of our members and the
facility in mind and will be enforced with a zero tolerance policy.

Is it safe to use the club after hours?

American Fitness members are very safe when using our facility after hours.
At all times, our members and guests are monitored and recorded by multiple
video cameras spread throughout our club. The American Fitness facility is
also monitored by ADT Security. When a member swipes his or her 24-hour
access card to gain access to the club, he or she is also automatically
checked into our computer system. These records contain a computer
photograph of each member so that we know exactly who is using the club at
exactly which times. A report containing these statistics is printed and
reviewed daily. Invalid or expired 24-hour access cards will not be recognized,
and the card user will therefore be denied access to the club.

Are guests allowed in the club after hours?

Guests are not allowed into the club after hours for any reason. This rule was
established with the safety of our members and facility in mind. Any and all
violations of this rule will be treated with a zero tolerance policy.

What happens if someone breaks the rules associated with the
24-hour access?

Any infraction of our 24-hour access rules will result in a member's immediate
termination with no refund provided. Warnings will not be given;
membership termination will result after the very first 24-hour access rule
violation. Once again, our rules have been created with only the safety of our
members in mind, and we will continue to enforce them with a zero tolerance
policy.
